.. Mark Hill - Straight-a-holic Review..

I love having straight hair, but I find that it can take me hours to achieve that perfect straight look and even after I've achieved it, it literally takes 5-10 minutes for the kinks to come back.

As I work in an office, I tend to not bother as much with my hair as I would if I was going out, so, I’ll just blow dry my hair and spray some sea-salt spray over my hair to achieve a messy look. It’s simple, easy and literally just takes 10 minutes before I’m out of the door.

When the weekend arrives and I have a night out, I really like to make my hair look healthy, glossy and straight, but haven’t been able to find any products that will keep it this way all night, until I picked up this little beauty. I recently took advantage of the Boots 70 % sale that they had in the first few weeks of the month and managed to pick up the Mark Hill Straight-a-holic gift set for £4.00 and it included;

 ·         Get It Straight! Shampoo (75ml)
·         Straighten Up! Conditioner (75ml)
·         Straight Talking! Straightening Cream (50ml)
·         Give It To Me Straight! Extreme Straightening Spray (50ml)

I love trying out smaller samples of products just in case I don’t end up liking them and feeling as if I’ve wasted my money however, after trying all of the products included in the set, I certainly will be going out and purchasing them again. The shampoo lathers up straight away and the conditioner gave it a smooth finish. Both were very creamy and you didn’t have to use a lot to achieve a smoother, clean result.
I sprayed the spray at the roots of my hair, and also used a tiny little bit of the cream on the ends of my hair before blow-drying. Neither of them felt as if they were weighing my hair down - After my hair was dry it was so soft and I didn’t even need to use the straightening irons because it had already achieved that smooth and straight finish.

I will definitely use this product again, but wouldn't use it on a daily basis – With my holiday around the corner, I’ll certainly be making use of these mini products and will also be checking out Mark Hill’s Holiday Range too. If you like the sound of this product then you can find the full Mark Hill range at Boots.
