Hello
everyone! I’m finally back from being a zombie-fied Kerry and now working
normal hours instead of 12-14 shifts yippee!! Today’s post is about my
favourite hair products at the moment as they’ve literally kept my hair in
place through the long hours.
Have
you heard of a company called Fudge? Yes? Fab! No? Look no further – Fudge is a
professional hair company that started way back in Australia when the founder
stood on a piece of gum which inspired him to create products that are strong,
yet flexible. Since then Fudge has sponsored the Brits and collaborated with
top fashion designers.
I
adore Fudge hair products because they literally do exactly what they say they
do and bring them to you at affordable prices. Now, I love a good bargain like
the next girl and that’s where I came across the Fudge products in Superdrug. They
were having an online sale and the Fudge Urban range was better than half
price. I managed to grab 3 items, because I didn’t want to be cheeky and
purchase anymore otherwise my bank card would have disliked me for quite some
time.
Fudge Urban Iced Raspberry & Vanilla
Styling Mousse 213ml – RRP: £5.99
Looks eye catching
and good enough to eat right? It works wonders on your hair too! This mousse
provides you with 24 hours of hold and also is a heat protective mousse, so you
don’t need to worry about adding any other styling products to your hair. I did
however, find that the mixture was a little bit runny even after shaking the
can, but maybe I didn’t shake it hard enough, either way it was a fantastic
product and never left my hair feeling sticky, crunchy or weighed it down.
Fudge Urban Iced Cocktail Hair Spray 135ml –
RRP: £4.99
Oh my – This smell
reminded me of being on a white sanded beach with a cocktail in my hands
watching the waves splash in the sea.. Ok maybe, I’ve gotten myself into one
hell of a day dream, but really – the smell is gorgeous and actually left my
hair in place ALL day. It’s a super concentrated mega hold hairspray that can
leave your hair styled for up to 48 hours - It’s a lovely hairspray that, of course
smells good, but like the mousse it doesn’t weigh your hair down. Some
hairsprays can leave you with hair that looking like it’s greasy & also
leaving you with matted and crusty hair, but this doesn’t and you can easily
brush it out too. A little goes a long way with this product, so rather than
spray it all over my hair I decided to spray some of the product in my hand and
just apply it to the parts that I wanted to stay put – If I was going out
however, I’d certainly boots up my roots with this to make my fine hair stay
put with lots of volume.

Fudge Urban De Gunk Deep Clean Shampoo
350ml – RRP £4.99
For all you hair
care fanatics that use lots of product daily – This is your go too. If you,
like me put lots of product on whether it be a volumising spray or a heat
protection cream and notice that the next time you wash your hair that it doesn’t
feel as though it’s been cleaned then get this! This is a lifesaver to my hair
and after first purchasing it back in 2006 when I decided to chop my hair off
into a choppy short style with lots of colours I’ve never gone to anything
else.
It literally gets
rid off any build up that you may have from your styling products and it’s very
gentle to be used every day. The citrus mint fragrance is gorgeous too and
after washing your hair and towel drying; it leaves it feeling fresh and clean
with no tangles either! I would certainly choose this product over any other
clarifying shampoo, as it really does make my hair look like it’s been washed
and soft to the touch. It also has a pump to use to dispense the products easily
without getting it all over the place.
I love Fudge products and have done for a
while now and really do think that their products are affordable. If you have
choppy or layered hair and find that nothing really holds that shape then visit
FUDGE and take a look around at the products they sell – If you’ve liked the
look of the products that I’ve reviewed to today then visit SUPERDRUG for all
other styling products in the Urban range (they have now gone back to full price)
As always, feel free to let me know if you
have tried any of these products and what you thought of them, as I love to
read your comments.
