I’ve
not had the best few days to be honest, I’ve been suffering from some awful
breakouts, lots of dry patches on my face and a lovely eye infection, but one
thing that has kept me feeling better is of course... tea! Now from my previous
tea posts HERE & HERE you can certainly understand how much I love tea, so
you can imagine how excited I was when 3 little sachets of Chai & Tea Latte
arrived through the post from the lovely DrinkMeChai. I have tried Chai Latte
before, but wasn’t too keen and just much preferred my cup of red bush or fruit
tea, but this all changed when I gave it another try.
“After
my first sip of the intoxicating chai during my travels in India, I was
inspired to create a Chai that was true to that authentic blend of tea and warm
spices”
– Amanda Hamilton, Drink Me Chai Founder
I
was sent the Vanilla Chai Latte, Spiced Chai Latte & Earl Grey Latte and
all packaging was appealing with their bright colours and eye catching fonts. I
delved into the Vanilla Chai Latte first which is described as “A fragrant blend
of tea, milk & spices & vanilla” – I love anything Vanilla, so this one
went down very easily. It reminded me of the Vanilla Lattes that I’d get from
my local coffee shop, but with lots of Cinnamon which to me was a perfect
taste. The Spiced Chai Latte which is described as “A fragrant blend of tea,
milk & spices” was gorgeous, perfectly spiced and not overpowering at all. The
smell instantly fills your senses and was perfect with a nice big slice of cake
(#winning!) – I didn’t however, like the Earl Grey Tea:Latte and the reason is because well, I don’t like
Earl Grey. I love to give things a go, but halfway through it just wasn’t my
cup of tea (pardon the pun) but if you’re a big lover of Earl Grey and want to
try something a little bit different then this is for you.
Overall,
I thoroughly enjoyed the Spiced and Vanilla Chai Lattes and will certainly be
popping down to my local supermarket to grab some tubs. You can also purchase
some different flavours by visiting the website – They currently have Green Tea, Mango,
Peppermint
& Chocolate flavours
which are £2.50 each (did someone say bargain?!?) I would certainly recommend this
brand for lovers of tea and for anyone that wants to try something different to
their usual cup of tea in the afternoon.
Have
you tried any of the Drink Me Chai teas? If you have leave me a comment and let
me know what you thought.

These sound lovely.Mum loves a chai tea latte but she only has one when she comes to the mainland (she lives on an island). This might just be the perfect Mother's Day gift for her :-) plus it's gluten free, awesome! I don't fancy the £3.50 postage though so I'll see if they have some locally. Great review, thanks.
