..Thirsty Thursday | Pear & Vanilla Tea..

Oh Tea! How I love you so! Seriously, Tea is a big part of my daily life and I must drink 4 or 5 cups a day which varies between fruit, chai and your normal cup of tea, but I’m always wanting to delight my taste buds with different flavours and was so excited to try the ‘In The Pink – Pear & Vanilla’ tea from Morrisons . At 75p for 20 bags you cannot go wrong and even though the packaging is simple (still it reminded me of the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party) the taste was amazing.

In the tiny little tea bag you have Hibiscus, Rosehip, Apple Pulp and Flavourings and as soon as the freshly boiled water ran over the tea bag, my senses were instantly filled with the smell of freshly picked pears. The taste was very strange because although it’s supposed to be Pear & Vanilla – it actually tasted more of Rhubarb than anything – maybe my senses were so excited that they were playing tricks on me, but still with a little bit of honey and 3-5 minutes leaving the teabag to infuse, it was so tasty and even the girls at work agree. Let’s just say after having the box for less than a week, I’m down to the last 2!

I am now eager to test out more of Morrisons own fruit tea to see if they pack more of a punch than this little beauty. When you’re a ‘take- your- tea -to–work- type- of- girl’ like me then 75p is certainly not breaking the bank, so for the flavour and price I give this a massive thumbs up!

Do you prefer supermarket’s own tea or do you like to splurge when it comes to that perfect tea pick me up? Let me know in the comment box below or by tweeting me @KMacBlogs #ThirstyThursday

  2. I've just found this blog after giving my cousin a cup of ITPP&V tea for her indigestion, great to see it getting the recognition it deserves!
