.. Charbrew Review ..

Just last week I was sent some tea from Charbrew to review ( wow – that rhymed! ) and to be honest I’ve not really heard of this company before, but after checking out their website I instantly knew that whatever they were going to send me would taste yummy! I was lucky enough to be sent 2 full sized boxes of Chocolate Orange & Strawberry & Kiwi flavoured teas, both of which contained 15 biodegradable mesh bags of joy! The packaging is very eye catching and the tea bags themselves were sealed in their packaging to keep the freshness in. It’s safe to say I was very excited to try these out, as they’re not the typical flavours that I would go for.

A twist on the traditional black tea, this whole leaf blend is mixed with rooibos organic coca husk, orange peel, flavouring orange and flavouring chocolate to give a gentle sweet lemon taste.

If I was to visit a supermarket and I saw this tea I’d probably just walk away because I wouldn’t usually associate chocolate and tea together unless it was a cup of tea and a chocolate bar, but seriously this tea smelt and tasted amazing! It smelt like Terry’s chocolate orange! The taste was a little bit bland at first, but as you got used to it the flavours started kicking in. You can add sugar to taste with this type of tea, but I decided to not interrupt the natural flavours.

A twist on the traditional black tea, this whole leaf blend is mixed with apple, rosehip sheels, hibisucus, strawberry pieced, kiwi pieced and flavouring kiwiaroma to give a gentle sweet lemon taste.

I loved this flavour because it was so fruity. Although I love my fruit teas, this wouldn’t be the flavour that I would usually grab if I was to go shopping for fruit tea but, I really enjoyed it and what makes this different is the tea bag! It really does make a huge difference to the taste of the tea and it’s so nice to actually see the different fruit pieces. It’s actually very similar to the Brew Tea Fruit Punch and would be perfect as an iced tea to drink on a hot summer’s day in the garden.

Overall, I really enjoyed both teas and want to see what the Choc Orange would taste like with milk – you never know it could be a new way of enjoying a cup of tea in the afternoon. The website holds many different flavours of tea including their new Pineapple & Vanilla flavour and if you order £20.00 or more you can get free delivery so, if you like tea and want to try something different and actually get to see the real fruit pieces/tea that you’re drinking then go grab yourself some tea from Charbrew HERE or your nearest Tesco, as they stock it too! :)

Have you tried any of the teas from Charbrew before? If so then tweet us @KMacBlogs @Charbrewtea  #Charbrewtea and let us know your comments.
