.. Fruit Broo Review..

I was recently contacted by Fruit Broo to try out some of their tea’s – To be fair, I’ve never heard of this company but, of course I jumped at the chance to try out their teas. Basically Fruit Broo are rule breakers and decided that they wanted to get that juicy fruit flavour into their tea but, instead of cramming it into a tea bag they decided to scrap that idea and blend their flavours in a liquid form. It sounds a bit strange right? How can tea be made without a tea bag! Well it can and it tastes absolutely delicious!

I was lucky enough to be sent 3 bottles – the bottles were so small and dinky that they were perfect to pop into my bag and take to work. I received Rhubarb, Apple & Cinnamon, Peach, Pear & Honey and Apple, Ginger & Spice but, there are also the options of Lemon & Ginger, Honey & Lemon as well as Elderflower & Lime. All are just 15 calories per cup and have natural flavourings, so there isn’t any need to feed guilty when sipping on one of these.

It’s definitely a different way to enjoy tea and I found it perfect to take to work, as there wasn’t any need to take mountains of tea bags especially when I don’t have a locker and all you have to do is add hot water. The taste was weird at first as if I was drinking warm squash, but the flavours were what won me over. I wasn’t a keen bean with the Apple, Ginger & Spice flavour but, I certainly enjoyed the Pear, Peach & Honey and think this would be perfect on a Summer’s day as an iced tea.

I loved how different and fresh this idea was but, still prefer the taste that a teabag can provide although these are perfect for on the go tea lovers that just want a quick fruity hit. If you want to check out FruitBroo a bit more then you can visit their website HERE or just pop into your local Sainsburys. They’re also offering my readers 40% off their first purchase – just enter the code WELCOME40 at the checkout stage when prompted before the 1st May 2014 to receive the discount.
