.. Gift Guide | Part 3 - The Film Fanatic ..

Today’s gift guide is all about the “Film Buff” – someone who watches many films and has many favourites. It’s all about enjoying those films whether it is on a DVD or in a cinema and quoting those famous quotes. Below are a few of the gifts that would be perfect for the film fanatic in your life. You can check out my post about the film fanatic in my life HERE

Although sound bars are pretty pricey at the moment, they’re most certainly a gift that will last forever. It’s a present that can be enjoyed by your partner as well as you, if you like watching movies too (oops just rhymed there) – it’s a way of bringing those movies to life by offering virtual sound with crisp, clear dialogue.  You can buy one of these in any of your local Argos, Curry’s/PC World or Comet. Go on; treat them to something you know they’ll make use of J

Film Memorabilia

TruffleShuffle.com (Yes, it’s the Goonies dance!) is a fantastic website that sells tshirts, gifts and even jewellery all revolving around music, film and TV. Just search for your partner’s favourite film and it’ll bring up a whole list of items for that film. I’ve purchased from this site before and the sizes for their t-shirts are very true to size, but if you have any problems then it’s simple to return within 30 days! They also have a whole range of film memorabilia ranging from mugs to key rings. There is something for everyone here.

Cinema Gift Card

Yes, it might be an easy present to give however, it means that you don’t have to risk going out, buying a film only to find out they already have it. A gift card means that your partner will have complete control of when they want to use it and for any film that they fancy. You also get to choose the amount that you want to put on and every now and again, if you’re feeling extra special you can just top it up as a little surprise!

There you have it a few ideas for the film fanatic in your life! Posters, mugs or special movie cells are great gift ideas too - you can’t really go wrong when it comes down to film gifts and hopefully my guide has given you a bit of inspiration.

  1. Hmmm...my brother is a film buff; he enjoys watching, discussing, and creating movies. Too bad he's not pursuing a career in it and is studying something wayyy off-topic in College. Anywho, I haven't gotten him anything movie-related, but this one looks super cool.
