..March Favourites..

Is it really April already? It’s weird to think that we have waved off March and said hello to April! I’m really looking forward to this month as I have lots planned! I finally get to enjoy a full rested week off work soon along with the boyfriend’s birthday, Gran’s 80th (she’s having a party next month) and the evening wedding reception of a best friend so, all in all I’m going to be a pretty busy bee. Last month I wasn’t able to spend or splurge a lot because of my holiday coming up (holiday save or splurge post up soon) so, I decided to start using up the things that I already had.

Beauty

As you can probably tell from my previous posts I am a MASSIVE Body Shop fan and try to buy something from there at least every month. I adore body oils and find them so versatile and this is why I love the Coconut Skin Beautifying Oil which can be used on the face, body and hair. Its £9.00 and you only need a few drops or so, to leave your skin feeling smooth and packed with a wonderful coconut fragrance. Mine is now nearly empty, but will be hoping to grab some before I go on holiday in May.

I was also sent a little lip balm to try from Laura (@PinksLForever) and this lip balm is like no other. Yes it might look simple on the outside, but it does plenty on the inside. Not only can you use it on your lips which will help combat cold sores along with leaving your lips smooth and soothed, but it’s also a mini first aid kit in a stick! It will help against any cuts, stings and insect bites. Most of all it smells gorgeous and I can tell you it has done wonders to my lips as they were so flaky and sore. Thanks Laura!

Food

My love for Popcorn has been found again and I must say when I came across the likes of Propercorn & Tyrrells it really opened my eyes to the wide range of flavours that they both have. Who would have thought that Sour Cream & Chive or Sweet & Salty flavours would work with Popcorn – Well they do and let me tell you, they really are incredibly yummy and you won’t want to share them with anyone else. You can find Propercorn flavours HERE and Tyrrells flavours HERE

Film & TV

If you have checked out my Film Buff post HERE then you will know that both me and my boyfriend are HUGE film and TV fans and have quite a lot in our DVD room as well as our living room. At the moment, I’m watching Once Upon A Time and I must say it’s incredible and just so enjoyable to watch. If you love fairytales, fantasy and a little bit of magic then I would certainly recommend this programme. You have all your favourite characters such as Snow White, Belle & even the villains such as the Evil Queen and Rumpelstiltskin in a TV show that grips and entices you to the point where you want to go back for more.

Home

I love shopping for my home – It’s just a lovely way of adding those extra touches to make your home your own. I love candles, especially Yankee Candles and have started to become obsessed with their candles that smell fresh like baby powder, fluffy towels and clean cotton. These are perfect to have in your home when it’s a sunny day and you have the breeze flowing through your windows. They’re also perfect to light up at night to give that fresh feel whilst you’re snuggled up on your sofa. I prefer to have the votives or wax melts before I decide to go for the small to large jars. You can check out my first every review about Yankee Candle HERE

There you have it – not many favourites, but all something that I enjoyed throughout the month of March. With my holiday coming up in May I’m sure there will be a lot that I’ll enjoy this month so, keep your eyes peeled for my April favourites at the end of the month.

What did you enjoy the most about March? Did you have any favourite products of the month? Let me know in the comments below or tweet me @KMacBlogs

  1. Haha, I love "Once Upon a Time," but haven't seen this season. I'm catching up with Season 2 on Netflix. Does Henry's character become less annoying as the show progress?

    1. We have season 2 on Lovefilm which is like Netflix so, only on episode 3. He is very annoying haha :)

Apparently they're not going to be showing anymore seasons here in the UK :( not sure if that's 100 true.
