Recently, Celebrity makeup artist Cassie Lomas picked out her key summer makeup pieces from makeup brand B. and I was lucky enough to be sent these to review on my blog. Cassie has said that " The no-makeup look was big on the runways for spring/summer this year and as holiday and festival season approaches, it's the perfect look to master" - I couldn't agree more! The natural and minimalistic look is perfect for this season and it's so much easier than having to constantly apply your foundation or powder.
So, below are the key pieces that Cassie picked out. I'll let you know why she picked them along with my honest opinion of these products.
(haha excuse the hair towel!)
B. Sculpted Contouring Kit in medium* - £10.49
Cassie: - "A true multi-faceted marvel. Sweep the bronzer under cheekbones and brush onto eye-sockets for an extra sunkissed look. Reflect light from cheek and brow bones by adding a touch of the creamy highlighter with fingertips"
Me: - I adored the fine milled, pigmented powder. It's the perfect colour for my skin tone and was an absolute doddle to apply. It did remind me of the Bourjois Delice de Soleil however, the only downfall of this product was in fact the highlighter. I really dislike creamy highlighters and everytime I had used it the bronzer had gotten into the highlighter and formed this orange coloured sheen that just put me off it. All in all a fab product, but would be better if the highlighter was in powder form.
B. All Lengthening, Defining & Volumising Mascara* - £9.99
Cassie: - "Be generous in your mascara application with at least two coats - it should scream sexy but be smudge-free, which makes this a perfect option"
Me: - By far, one of my favourite mascaras. I love anything that will separate my lashes, which can get clumpy with certain mascaras as well as, giving them that extra boost. It's worth every penny and doesn't flake off onto your face like some mascaras can do.
B. Vibrant Lip & Cheek Colour in Prom* - £7.99
Cassie:- "Prom is a natural pinky shade which suits most skintones. Dab onto cheeks and smudge onto lips for a natural hint of colour"
Me:- An amazing shade packed with a pinky pigmented colour. It really is such an amazing, versatile product that you can use day or night. I love how you can use this as a lip colour, as well as a cheek stain and with it's simple, slimline packaging it's a must have in all handbags.
These products will be following me everywhere throughout the Summer season, as they're easy products that you don't need to spend ages applying. If used together you have a fresh faced, natural look for the day, but with the addition of liquid eyeliner or a smokey eye - you have your night look without the need to drag your whole make up bag with you. I will certainly be checking out this brand and seeing what else they have to offer.

I've never heard of B. cosmetics! That bronzer-highlighter duo look amazing, though. I agree that highlighters (in general) should be in powder form, especially if they're going to be used in warmer weather.

I haven't heard of it before either. I've seen it in my local Superdrug, but never thought to buy it. I'll be checking out more of their lipsticks though :)
