.. Forget Your Troubles | CORAL Me Happy ..

Can you believe it’s nearly the end of August? Seriously where has this year gone! It’s going by so fast, and soon it will be the end of summer – yes that means it’s time to say goodbye to the neon brights and hello to the Autumn darks.

I’m an autumn girl through and through, but can never say no to the odd, pop of colour on my nails and lips – which is why I was pretty excited when a little parcel of Coral coloured beauties arrived on my doorstep.

Below are the items that arrived, and what I thought of them. If you have tried any of the brands mentioned then let me know by popping a comment below.

GOSH Frosted Nail Lacquer in Frosted Soft Coral*- £3.99

GOSH Nail Lacquer in Kind of Pink* -£3.99

Personally, I wasn’t a huge fan of the Frosted Nail Lacquer. The texture made me feel a little bit queasy and it would catch on my clothes or anything that I happened to touch. Don’t get me wrong the colour was beautiful – a perfect baby pink shade, but sadly it wasn’t for me. The Coral colour however, wow! Smooth as anything, went on like a dream and instantly brightened my finger and toenails. It would suit pretty much any skin tone, especially freshly bronzed skin.

 B. Sheer Conditioning Lipstick in Coral* - £6.99

The texture of this lipstick was to die for! Smooth, perfectly pigmented and left my lips not only looking amazing, but also leaving them feeling nourished. It wasn’t too bright either which I think can matter sometimes with a lipstick. This was a perfect shade for me to wear in the day, and if I ever wanted to brighten it up for the evening then I would just add a little pop of pink. 

All in all, I think Coral is a go to colour for summer and it can even carry on through to autumn if you fancied just a hint of colour to get you through those cold evenings. You can find all items listed HERE.
