.. DIY Dark Circle Remover ..

If I was to tell you that a simple product, which you most probably have in the back of drawer - would help disguise your dark circles, would you believe me? Want to know that the product is....

A Matte Orange Eye shadow! Yes, call me crazy but, this actually helps dark circles and makes your eyes look fresh and bright. You probably have an orange eye shadow in a palette, or even an orange blusher that you have never used, so make that your new best friend! As dark circles have a blue..ish tinge to them, the orange counteracts with the blue to hide the colour - of course you can't walk around with orange under your eyes, so do this as a step before your concealer.

All you need to do is get a soft domed brush and apply your orange powder to the darkness under your eyes, as well as in the inner corner. Just sweep any excess off with a brush, and apply your concealer. Just do the usual blending and there you go!  Bright eyed peepers!

Once your concealer is applied you will notice the difference completely. In the picture above you can see that the right hand side looks pretty red, dark and my eyes look tired, but on the left hand side you can see that my eyes look so much better, and incredibly brighter. I finished off with my usual foundation along with powder to set everything, and I must admit it has given me a boost of confidence, and I hardly get the "oh you look really tired today" phrase.

So, if you're like me and love to hunt down a bargain or even think of ideas to help you save money then just go out and buy yourself a matte orange blusher/eye shadow and get rid of those dark circles. Who said you had to spend loads to cover dark circles, it’s a simple and easy way that doesn’t cost you an arm & leg.

Do you have any hints or tips that you do with your makeup let me know on the comment below.

    1. It's crazy isn't it. I'm using an orange blusher from a palette, and it's saved me so much money from going out and buying a high end product. xo
