Vitamin E | Super Balm

As you all may know, I’m a big sufferer of dry/sensitive skin which can end up leaving my face itchy and red and just feeling pretty uncomfortable. I have tried many skin care products, some have done the trick and there have been some that have exceeded my expectations (Thank you Bioderma and La Roche Posay) but, as you can imagine those come with a heavy price tag.

I’m more of a budget girl, and always try to find alternatives to these high end products that you find in stores. Of course, if a product works and it’s pricey then I will have the urge to splurge. Although the Vitamin E Super Balm* isn’t something I’d use all over my face, it is something that has helped me with the dry patches on my face, and believe me when it says ‘Super’ it really is a hero in a jar. Not only can you use this on dry patches of skin but, you can use this as a lip balm if your lips are dry & chapped as well as, using it as a cuticle oil – hello healthy nails!

At £3.99 for a small pot a little does really go a long way. It’s incredibly conditioning, hydrating and soothing and something that I can just throw in my bag and I can use it throughout the day. This product really has won me over and I will certainly look into purchasing the rest of the range.

You can find the full Vitamin E range at Superdrug HERE. Superdrug currently have an offer for 2 for £4 on selected Vitamin E products so, grab yourself some goodies before the offer expires.

Do you have a favourite skincare product? Do you like to splurge or, love a budget buy. Let me know in the comments below.

  1. I like to splurge, but only when there is a special sale going on that would bring the prices down closer to something a bit more reasonable. Lol. Otherwise, I'd have to really love something to pay full-price for it. :-P
