For today's post I'm going to be answering 11 questions that revolve around the wonderful world of Halloween. A lot has changed since my trick or treating days, so I hope you'll enjoy reading about my favourites etc.

Feel free to take the questions and use them on your blog. Leave me a link if you do, as I'd love to read about your favourites over this spooky time!

1. What is your favourite Halloween movie?

This is a tricky one, as I'm a huge horror fan anyway. I love a good ol' scare, so if there are any scenes that are guaranteed to have my face behind a pillow then that is most certainly a Halloween film. I'm going to have to say for scares and jumps it has to be 'A Nightmare on Elm street'. Nothing screams out horror than this iconic film, and will be something that I'll watch on Halloween. If I had to go for something with jumps and laughter then it would have to be 'Hocus Pocus'  it's a Halloween classic and whilst it might be jumpy in some parts, it's fully of fun and laughter for all ages.

Oh! Another that I'm excited to watch with the tattooed due this year is 'The Evil Dead' the original is by far the best (sorry for all you lovers of the remake) it's full of scares but it's also pretty hilarious in some aspects.

2. Between 1-10, how much do you enjoy Halloween?

I can't say that I am a HUGE fan of this spooky day. This mostly is my fault for watching scary films, and having a very vivid imagination. I would say a 6 and that's because I love the whole pumpkin carving, sweet eating, movie watching aspect of it but, if I see anyone dressed up in a clown suit, or those creepy eyes anywhere then that just makes me want to curl up in my bed and wish for the 1st Nov to arrive haha.

3. What is your fondest Halloween memory?

I would probably have to be 'trick or treating' and all the times I got to do this with my friends and cousins. There would be years where my mum would make a witches outfit out of bin liners, and the year where me and my friends decided to go trick or treating a day early to see what we got (we managed to get a few things haha *cough an apple cough*) so I think the memories of being able to do that is my fondest memory by far.

4. Have you always been a Halloween lover?

When I was younger yes, but not so much no. I think that may change though when I eventually have children, and we move into a bigger place where we can host Halloween parties.

5. How do you get in to the Halloween spirit?

I think the shops do that for us. Everywhere you look there are so many amazing decorations and ideas to use for your own home. This year I'm actually able to spend it with the Tattooed Dude, as we never get to spend it together.

6. What is your favourite Halloween decoration?

Mine is incredibly boring but, it has to be fairy lights and pumpkins. I'm really loving the 'Munchkins' these are baby pumpkins and you can either carve them or decorate them! Too cute!

7. Favourite Halloween/Fall scent?

I'm a huge fan of Yankee Candle and always stock up with wax melts over Autumn. For Halloween I have witches brew which is a black wax melt but smells incredible! Anything spicy/sweet does it for me over this season.

8. Favourite sweet?

Hmm... at the moment Hotel Chocolat have some amazing treats out. We visited the Exeter store at the weekend to buy some treats for our Halloween bowl, and they had some pretty decent offers and chocolates in there. So I guess my answer would have to be chocolate!

9. Vampires or Zombies?

Now this is difficult... I am a massive fan of 'The Lost Boys'  but also a fanatic of the 'Resident Evil' franchise. Vampires are very cunning, and can use a lot of tricks on you, yet zombies are slow but, can change depending on what type they are. I think with my knowledge on how to kill a zombie if that type of apocalypse happened, I'd go with zombies.

10. What is your weirdest/oddest fear?

I have a phobia of buttons. I won't wear any clothing that has buttons on, although I can wear those popper buttons just not the ones with the wholes. I hate spiders, and any flying insects too.

11. Do you believe in ghosts?

It's difficult to say.. I'm yet to see one but there have been times where in the corner of my eye I have seen something, but again that could be my mind playing tricks on me. I do feel as though your spirit goes somewhere else away from your body so who knows!
