Back in October 2013, me and my wonderful
boyfriend took a little getaway to the City of Love. I've always wanted to
visit Paris since I first watched Moulin Rouge, not for the can-can dancing or shopping
( well...that’s a lie isn't it ) but, because it looked so beautiful and full
of culture.
I felt right at home in Paris and it’s gorgeous
in the day as it is at night. The buildings are so historic and I love how each
of them has a story behind them. The detail with the bridges along the River Seine astounded me as well as the ‘Lovers Bridge’ with all of the padlocks
surrounding the bridges. Each padlock meant something to someone and our coach
driver managed to find his padlock that he put there with his wife about 2
years ago (How cute...)
All my friends know how much of a Disney fan I
am, so I made sure that I visited Disneyland Paris. I had visited Disneyland in
Orlando,Florida when I was 9 years old, so it brought back many happy memories
for me. It took about an hour to get to Disneyland from where we stayed in
Paris, so it meant that I had a FULL day in the park.
I shall be visiting again one day, but this time
I’d like to visit more of the sights such as the Notre Dame and the Moulin
Rouge, as we didn't have much time to visit those places.
Have any of you been to Paris at all? If so, let
me know what you enjoyed about and did you try any of the French Cuisine?
Have a terrific Tuesday everyone.
Kerry xoxo
