My First Blog Post
So, I'm very much new to all this Blogging talk and very much excited to share with you all, my chitter chatter, purchases/reviews and just everyday life's adventures.
..This Weekend.
This weekend was very much a spontaneous and spur of the moment thing. I LOVE being spontaneous and although I'm one who usually has to plan everything!, I just love how the weekend planned out.
Friday - So, Friday is usually the day that you're excited to finish work and just have a lovely relaxing weekend off...hmmm... not me! I had to work Friday as well, as Saturday and Sunday, but I'm not one to complain I do in fact really ENJOY my job. I currently work for a well known fashion company and I look after the Social Media pages. It's incredibly rewarding and fun at the same time. I always leave work with a happy face.. well most of the time. It's just amazing knowing that you've made someone's day.
After leaving work, I went home and slumped down on the sofa with the boyfriend. Watched a bit of telly and then went to bed ( I lead such a fancy life eh? ) We did though enjoy one of my NEW Tassimo* Hot Chocolate Pods ( Blog about the Pods will be up shortly ) which was A-H-Mazing. I think that's what sent us both to sleep straight away! All in all, a pretty normal day for me.
Saturday - Up at 7am for me this morning. It's crazy because I only live a 10 minute walk away from work yet, I'm up 2 hours before I start work? A girl has to look her best right?!? You never know who you're going to meet on your way to work.. I'm not sure Bradley Cooper would rock up in Exeter but you never know! I put on a Carte Noir* Tassimo* coffee in my travel cup before waking up the boyfriend with my very much loud hairdryer.. whoopss sorry darling. It's ok though, he didn't have work that day, so technically could fall back to sleep and wake up whenever he wanted too.
Throughout my day at work me and my friend Rachel decided to plan a night out ( As you do ) I hadn't been out for a while, so thought why not! She had to see her father in nearby Cullompton so, she and my other friend Bobbie didn't end up arriving to mine until 10pm! That's ok, I live near the city centre so, we had enough time to have a few cheeky Vodka and Lemonades. It was a fun filled night with plenty of dance moves ( I usually end up having a dance off with some random person! Classy! ) I was a good girl though, knowing that I had work the next day made me leave earlier than the other two, although when you're in a club drinking you don't think you're tipsy until... you step outside! Luckily I didn't have to walk home on my own, as the lovely boyfriend came to meet me ( What a diamond! ) I was very much pooped and went to sleep straight away.
Sunday - I had a few text messages from the girls. I love my friends so much and love talking about the shenanigans from the night before. I did in fact have work today, but I knew that as soon as it hit 6pm I'd be back home to my boy with yet another hot chocolate and talking about our days. Pure Bliss!
All in all, a pretty fun weekend with lots of laughter, giggles and general chit chat. Thanks so much for taking the time to read my first blog. I'm pretty sure once I get used to talking about my day to day travels and reviews, it'll be much more interesting.
