I first started using Soap and Glory products back in 2007 when I was given 'Clean on Me' as a part of my birthday present. Oh my! It smelt incredible and was so creamy leaving my skin so soft and smelling gorgeous. Ever since then I've become hooked and will always get something from Soap & Glory around Christmas. This year my mum got me a wonderful gift set which included a whole selection of items, but I wanted to blog about my favourites from that set and the reasons why I love them so much.
Now, a body exfoliator is a must as it scrubs away all of your dead skin cells to leave beautiful and gleaming skin behind, but with Soap & Glory they make sure that your skin is also left nourished, smooth with a hint of fragrance. I have tried the 'Breakfast Scrub' and loved it instantly however, I think I've found a new favourite which has made shower times delightful.
Scrub 'Em And Leave 'Em - RRP £8.00 for 300ml
"With babassu oil, sea salt and moisturising jojoba and mandarin oils. Scented with our Mist You Madly™ fragrance"
This lovely candy pink exfoliator really does the job in making sure that your skin is left wonderfully smooth. For 300ml and depending on how frequent you use it, you have about 3 or so months worth of product and that's amazing value. I tend to use this once a week, usually at the weekends when I've had a busy week, as it leaves me feeling refreshed. The fragrance isn't too overpowering either and I really cannot praise it enough. I will very much buy this again and with my holiday coming up, I'll be making sure that the travel size is in my suitcase.
Butter Yourself - RRP £10.50 for 300ml
"Fruity body moisturiser containing exfoliating AHAs, orange waterjuice™, shea butter, peppermint oil & fruitliquid fig. Scented with our new Fruitigo™ fragrance"
I adore thick and creamy body butters, as these can be slapped on before bed and your skin is in tip top condition ready for the morning. With this body butter, it includes Shea butter which I am in love with and it makes my skin so soft and really moisturises it. I like to take a big dollop of this stuff and use it right after a bath or shower and like the body exfoliator, it doesn't have an overpowering smell to it which is perfect if you want to use it in the morning too! I have so many body butters to use right now, but I think this will be part of my night time ritual and as they have this in a travel size, I'll be taking this with me on holiday too!
All in all I think Soap & Glory is very much value for money. You get so many use's out of their products and they really do sort your skin out. With having sensitive and dry skin all the ingredients that are used in their products work well with my skin and that to me is a big thumbs up!
I've started to make a little wishlist on their website, so that I can start sending some ideas for presents to my mum for my Christmas list ( Yes, I'm 25 but still like to write a list haha! ) If any of you want to make a wishlist of your own or even take a look at some other S&G products then you can do so HERE
