..I heart Tea! - Twinings Haul..

It’s crazy how one minute you’re an avid coffee drinker and then the next minute you’re more into tea! Well that’s what I've been like for the past few weeks or so, and although I adore a Vanilla Latte now and again, I really do love a nice hot cup of tea to chill out with however, since my last post HERE, I decided to venture out onto the web to see what other tea’s are on offer and came across Twinings website.

The wonderful Twinings are very much well known for their teas and I wanted to see what other flavours I could choose from, so after searching their site I came across their Pick ‘n’ Mix section and instantly felt like a kid in a sweet shop! You get to select each tea bag which is in its own individual & eye catching wrapped envelope. It’s definitely perfect if you wanted to give them as part of a gift for someone, or if you know you’re going on a trip somewhere. I love to try something new and this was the perfect way, as I didn't have to buy a whole box and regret purchasing it. The price for each tea bag ranges from 20p – 40p which is pretty good value!

I decided to choose the following;

Sleep
Digest
Defence
Rose Earl Grey
Jasmine Earl Grey
Lavender Earl Grey
Darjeeling
Earl Grey
Lady Grey
Assam
Everyday Blend
Cranberry & Raspberry
Peppermint
Lemon & Ginger
Camomile
Double Mint
Camomile & Maple
Lime & Ginger
Cranberry Green Tea
Pure Green Tea
Lemon Green Tea
Jasmine Green Tea
Honeycomb Camomile
Mint Humbug

I also decided to purchase a box (20 bags)  of the mouth watering Apple Crunch fruit flavoured tea for £1.49 and the little darlings decided to give me another packet of Everyday Blend as an extra little something! ( perfect to take to work! ) - I love adding honey to my fruit teas as well because I sometimes find the taste a little bit too bland, but I certainly know these will go down a treat when taking them to work to enjoy!
All in all, I was pretty pleased with what I had purchased and I'm glad that I decided to go for the pick 'n' mix option, as it's such a creative way to try different flavours that you wouldn't usually go for.  If you like the sound of these tea's then click HERE.

Now, as I'm in love with tea so much, I've decided that each Tuesday I'm going to be doing a mini post called 'Tea Tuesday' - Not much of a stand out name, but it's going to be dedicated to tea and I'm going to be letting you know what my favourite is from the past week. Taste buds at the ready!!

Let me know if you have tried any of these flavours and what you thought of them by posting a comment below :)

  3. Have you ever tried Camomile and Spiced apple or Camomile and Honey? They're sooooo good! I'm a tea geek too, but humbug or peppermint are my life... hahaha
