..The Liebster Award..

Hey lovelies! I have been nominated for the Liebster Award by Natalie and was really blown over by this, but of course very excited to take part. I've not really heard about it, but know that it’s a wonderful way for bloggers to network and share with other bloggers who have only recently started their blogs. I’m very flattered that people have taken the time to read my blog and really want to thank you all! I love blogging and hope that you all love reading my posts, so what I need to do is nominate 11 bloggers for this award and write out some questions for them to answer. Random Facts about Me:

1.       I am a college dropout (twice!) when studying for Hairdressing & Travel & Tourism – It just wasn't for me, but I loved the time I was there.

2.       I have my nose pierced and 1 tattoo

3.       I adore Disney and always will – My favourite film is Alice in Wonderland.

4.       I have 1 niece and 2 nephews

5.       I bought my own flat with my boyfriend in 2012.

6.       I love rock music and my favourite bands include U2, Bring Me the Horizon, Alexisonfire etc.

7.       I have a phobia of buttons.

8.       I love picking off my nail varnish

9.       I’m a night owl and hate early mornings.

10.    One Tree Hill is by far my favourite ever TV Show

11.    I always have to drink a cold drink after I've drank a hot drink

Natalie’s Questions

1.  Favourite beauty item to purchase/collect?

It would have to be nail varnishes for me, as I love painting my nails when I get the chance and being creative with styles, colours and textures.

2. How long have you been blogging for?

I think it's just over a month and I love it - It's that little space of mine where I can just write what I want about the things that I love :)

3. Summer or winter?

Ohhh that's a tough one, because they both have their likes and dislikes. If I could only pick one then I would go for winter. I love the winter because it's a chance to snuggle up on the sofa with a hot chocolate and love how magical that month is.

4. Drugstore or high end?

 For me it would have to be drugstore - I don't have lots of money to buy high end, but if I've read great reviews and find that a high end product is worth splashing the cash then I will, but love how the drugstores have lots of offers with beauty products :)

5. Do you have any pets?

Sadly, not anymore :( My lovely Staffordshire bull terrier called Jake passed away in 2010 - He was a lovely dog and lived until he was 15. I'd like to get another dog in the future though, preferably a British bulldog.

6. Most embarrassing band/artist in your iTunes?

I don't really use iTunes much, so I've picked my most embarrassing from my Spotify playlist and that's probably Jesse McCartney - Back when I was about 15-16 I loved him and would watch a programme he was in called Summerland on Trouble (remember that channel!) I still listen to some of his songs, but not as much as I used too.

7. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?

Hands down it's got to be America. I loved visiting Florida when I was younger, but would love to see California and New York, as well as North Carolina. 

8. What 3 things would you take if you were stranded on a desert island?

My Kindle to read, Sun cream, so I didn't burn & a genie (if that's possible?) as he'll grant me 3 more wishes! :) 

9. Sweet or Savoury?

I've always been a lover of anything sweet. I probably could eat chocolate all day every day if I could.

10. Favourite skincare product?

When I visited Paris, I picked up Bioderma and ever since I've chosen that as my make up remover. It’s like splashing water over your face and it literally takes your entire make up off whilst cleansing and toning. 

11. What are you currently lusting after?

I'm hoping to purchase an Urban Decay NAKED palette soon, as I've always wanted one of these. Also the new Gwen Stefani OPI range - I love her style and the colours she's chosen are gorgeous!

I have also been nominated by the lovely Tammy at Chic & Alluring  - Although I've already been nominated once, I thought it would be nice to answer her questions so, here goes.

1. What is your most prized possession? All of my photographs. My mum is the same as me and has huge boxes full of photos from way back to when she was younger and the same goes for me. It's so nice to re-visit the past and a picture can always tell a thousand words.

2. What is your favourite quality in yourself? Probably my caring & mothering side - All my friends say I'm the mother of the group because I always put my friends and family before me. 

3. Your top 3 beauty products? It's got to be my Bioderma Sensibio Water - Benefit POREfessional & NYC Translucent Powder.

4. Bath or Shower? I'd have to say Bath. I love just getting into a hot bubble bath and lighting a few candles. It's so relaxing and calming.

5. What makes you happy? My family, boyfriend and friends - Everything else is a bonus :)

6. What is your favourite word? Wonderland - It just reminds me of Alice in her crazy own bubble of fun and craziness and that's exactly how my life is.

7. Do you have any phobias? If so, what is it? - SPIDERS & Flying Insects such as wasps etc.

8. What's a book that you can read over and over again? Lewis Carroll's Alice In Wonderland :)

9. Where would you like to travel to? I'd love to visit America again. I visited Florida when I was 9 but, really want to visit New York & California.

10. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? Me and my cousin would always sing every time we were together putting on little shows for our family so, I've always wanted to be a singer - Guess that never worked out haha.

11. Where do you see yourself five years from now? Married with a baby. I've already found the love of my life and although we own a flat together, it would be nice to get that big house we've always dreamed of and starting our own little family. I'd also like to hopefully blogging and maybe starting a career from that.
