..Bistrotea | TeaPods Review..

Bistrotea are a company that have made making tea easier than ever. They’ve come up with a perfect little design and way of drinking a cup of flavoured/fragrant cup of Organic, Fair trade tea. This incredible design allows you to stir the tea without the need of a teaspoon or any need to squeeze or wring out a tea bag that could cause the loss of any flavour. It’s fully recyclable too, so yay to no waste.

I was very excited to receive my little envelope by these guys today and instantly ran to the kitchen to boil my kettle to give one a try. I was sent two flavours to taste which were ‘Herbs ‘n Honey’ & ‘Green Tea and Ginger’. Both were in their own little packaging which listed all ingredients that were in the tea along with brewing time and the amount of water that you needed to enjoy the full extent of the flavour – Major thumbs up! As instructed, I left the pod to infuse for a little while before stirring it to release the flavour and waited the time that was instructed. I tried both of these teas throughout the day J

Herbs ‘n Honey’ – This was a wonderful Caramel colour and as soon as I gave this pod a stir I could smell the honey straight away – It wasn’t too sweet which is what you’d usually expect with honey and with the herbs included (Spearmint, Rooibos, Eucalyptus, Fennel, Wild Orange Leaves & Honey Flavouring) it never left me with any aftertaste. As it was sweet enough there wasn’t any need to use any sugar and this one would be perfect to drink in the afternoon. I was very impressed with this flavour and would most certainly purchase this one again.

Green Tea and Ginger – I’m not the biggest fan of Green Tea on its own and do prefer it if there is another flavour added to it, so when I saw that this included Ginger I was very intrigued to see how I got on. I must say I was very much won over by the flavour, I’m not sure whether the design made the tea taste a lot smoother, but there wasn’t any nasty aftertaste that some green tea’s can leave. I think it would be a perfect tea to drink after dinner or just before bed as a little caffeine free night drink.

There are 11 different blends to choose from so, there is something for every tea lover. I really did enjoy the flavours that were sent to me and cannot wait to purchase the others – These TeaPods are perfect to pop into your handbag and take them everywhere you go and I know that I’ll be taking these to work and sharing them with my tea loving work colleagues. They’re currently running a little Mother’s Day promotion which can be found HERE so, if your mum is a tea lover then click on the link to receive 15% off your purchase. You can also enter their competition where you could win a year’s supply of the TeaPods too!
