I started blogging back in January 2014 and
for me it was just a little space on the internet where I could share my
favourite products and just generally be myself. It’s been a fun filled 10
months, meeting new friends along the way and trying some amazing products.
With all first time bloggers your posts hardly get views or comments and you
feel as though whatever you’re writing isn’t worth it, but it shouldn’t be that
way. You should be writing what YOU want to write, and just being yourself –
That’s where my favourite blogger xAmeliax steps in.
I first viewed Amelia’s YouTube channel
around winter 2013, as I was looking for some ideas on make-up. I wanted an
everyday make up look that I could wear to work and found this one HERE. YouTube
is an amazing place to find all sorts of tutorials but, what made Amelia stand
out was how down to earth, funny and just really interesting her videos were.
Because of her videos, I wanted to check
out her blog too and I was really excited to see how perfectly simple, yet interesting
her blog was. All of her blog posts are beautifully worded to the point that I’ve
actually gone and purchased the item she’s reviewed because of how she’s presented
that product.
She seems like such a bubbly, genuine, funny
and down to earth person and this does show in every word that she writes and
every video that she records. You don’t get many bloggers like this, bloggers
that just really love to write about what they want and find products sent to
them as bonuses. Believe me, I’ve read some blogs and heard some stories on how
people use blogging as a way of getting freebies and to me as well, it really
is just a bonus.
The most recent post that I’ve read on
Amelia’s blog is the bond she has with her mum. The Pandora charms that they
get each time they are together are just so adorable and it’s made me think of
how much I love my mum and maybe it’s time to start making more memories with
her too.
This post is in no way ‘brown nosing’ or promoting Amelia’s blog etc but
simply appreciating and acknowledging a fellow blogger. Amelia is
a blogger inspiration to me and I hope that one day I’ll have the confidence to
get in front of a camera and vlog like her. So, xAmeliax thanks for inspiring
me to just have fun with my blog, keep my private life private and just be
myself. Oh, and for having some pretty amazing nail tutorials!!
So what are you waiting for? Go and see for
yourself how fab she is. Visit www.xameliax.com
or HERE for her YouTube channel.
Do you have a blogger inspiration? Someone
who you look up too and whose blog posts you’re always reading. Let me know in
