..Body Shop Hair Chalk Review & Tutorial..

Hey everyone! :)

I decided to venture into my local city centre to meet up with an old friend and do a bit of shopping. Of course, I had to visit the body shop, as it's one of my favourite places to grab my goodies and I was so excited and thrilled to see that they now sell 'Hair Chalk' - All last week me and my friend at work were talking about hair chalk and how much we wanted to get it, so I wasted no time at all in purchasing this little beauty.

Hair Chalk is a must for all of you hair lovers that really love to experiment with colours, but don't want to take the plunge and get it done permanently. It's a bargain price at £5.00 and comes in a small little tub which resembles an eyeshadow pot - Be careful though, this stuff can stain a little bit, so take extra care when using it.

All you need to do is think about where you'd like to put the colour on your hair - This can be either on the tips of your hair or even in slices. When applying you'll want to use protective gloves and also use a cotton wool pad to help apply the colour. Now it's totally up to you how you apply it, but I decided to put the pot on the top of the section and the cotton wool pad on the back whilst dragging both down at the same time. Do it vice versa for even coverage and I'd also recommend using the chalk 2 or three times on the same area, as well as using it on wet hair first. This is of course all depends on how strong you want the colour :)

When finished with the chalk, just style your hair as normal and either straighten the colour in or hairspray to keep that vibrant colour intact. Remember it's washable, so it won't stay in your hair permanently.

As you can see it leaves a lovely bubblegum pink colour in my hair, but I'm sure it'll vary with different hair colours. I love it so much that I use it everyday and will be popping out to grab the blue colour soon.
As far as I'm aware the Hair Chalk is only available in stores, but hopefully they'll start putting it online.

Have any of you tried hair chalk at all? What did you think? I'd love to hear your comments.

Kerry xoxo

    1. Hey Rachel :)

Hair Chalk is perfect for any colour hair. The darker the hair colour will depend on the brightness of the chalk. It's worth a go and with the Body Shop selling it for £5,00, it's a bargain.

Let me know if you ever decide to get any :) Blue would look lovely on your hair.

      xoxo
